Today in the message we are exploring Acts 27 and the harrowing sea journey of Paul and his companions, and how God rescued him and enabled him to continue on his journey to Rome. The title of the sermon is Safety in the Will of God. The safest place on earth is in the center of the will of God.
Questions for Discussion: Here are some discussion questions you and your family can use:
The safest place on earth is in the center of God's will. Are you currently living your life in the center of God's will? Why do you think Jonah ran from God's will? Why did Paul not run from God's will like Jonah? Being in God's will is also a matter of obeying him in our daily lives, being an honest person, doing the right thing no matter what, and being compassionate, fair, and righteous. Why is outside pressure to do the wrong thing so hard to resist? Can we resist it? What is important to the world that is not important to God? What is important to God that is not important to the world? What do you need to change in your life in order to be in the center of God's will today? Blessings, Pastor David
